Enjoy fine chamber music during daylight hours in our new series of lunchtime concerts. This winter, we look forward to a vibrant selection of performances by local professionals in the intimate setting of our Jack Wagg auditorium. Seating will be cabaret style, and performances a maximum of 40 minutes long.

Raya Kostova grew up in Varna, Bulgaria and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music (BMus) and later at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, from where she obtained a first class PGADip and won numerous awards.

She has been performing as a concerto soloist since age 11 and has played works by Rachmaninov, Chopin, Beethoven and Mozart among others with orchestras across Europe; she has also performed solo recitals in the UK, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, Finland and Russia.

Raya is a keen chamber musician and performs regularly with her husband, Thomas Humphreys.
