Leander Kippenberg, was born in Germany and started his studies at the University of Music and Arts in Frankfurt am Main at the age of fifteen. At twenty, he was accepted with a full scholarship at the Guildhall school of Music and Drama into the class of Prof. Louise Hopkins. Leander has performed as a soloist and chamber musician all over Europe with Orchestras such as the Young Musicians Symphonie Orchestra London or the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
Oliver Wass was born in London and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in internationally renowned concert venues in Rome, Paris, Budapest and London. Just recently, he won the International Suoni d’Arpa Competition in Italy and, as the first Harpist ever, the Gold Medal, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama’s most prestigious prize. This year, he is going to record his first CD under the Tacitus Label. Oliver is musician of the Musician’s Company Yeoman and very grateful for the support from the Hattori-Foundation.
Both have graduated with a first-class Masters degree from the Guildhall school of Music and Drama and gave their debut concert at St. John Smith Square in London in 2017.
