about this event

Sadly violinist Julia Pusker is unable to play at Cranleigh Arts on Friday due to unforeseen circumstances, but we are delighted to announce that Renata Konyicska, who was scheduled to accompany Julia, will play a full solo piano concert with works by some of the same composers as the original programme.

Renata started studying music at the age of five with Adam Ema. At the age of ten, she was accepted at the Special School for Exceptional Young Talents of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2016.

Prizes she has won include at competitions in Croatia, Italy, the Smetana Piano competition in the Czech Republic and the International Piano competition for Young Musicians in the Netherlands and the Concerto Competition prize at the ISA Festival in Austria.

She has performed in concerts in France, Spain, Poland, Austria and Hungary. She has been invited to play at the Liszt Week Esztergom every year since the festival was initiated in 2008.
