The De Beauvoir Triois a London-based ensemble formed in 2019 by violinist Enyuan Khong and cellist Charlotte Kaslin, with the recent addition of pianist Élisabeth Pion. The Trio explores music from a unique perspective, incorporating concepts from linguistics and literature studies to elevate their communication with one another and to the audience.

They were Finalists of the St-Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Competition, postponed due to Covid-19, and were invited to participate on scholarships in festivals across Europe, including Jeunesses Musicales in Germany and Musique à Flaine.

The Trio regularly performs in venues across London, with postponed engagements in St John Smith Square and St Martin-in-the-Fields. They have most recently entered the mentorship of Chamber Studio in King’s Place and have a chamber music residency at the Britten Pears Young Artists’ Programme for 2021/22.

The Trio is grateful for the mentorship of Andràs Keller, Adrian Brendel and Ursula Smith, as well as the guidance of Ronan O’Hora, John Myerscough and Edward Dusinberre
